　　Good morning everybody, I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. They all had a fall, but they are strong enough to stand up, fight against fate and misfortune, finally they succeed. So for each of us, wrestling is not terrible, lose confidence and courage in life is the most terribe thing. In my opionion, the sweat and tears during the life’ journey are very important for us, they hone our will, and enrich our experience. As the saying goes, how can you see the rainbow without a rainy day, while you don't work hard and not struggle, how can you gain the successful flowers. All in all, the sweat and tears on the struggling road is inevitable, don’t look for shortcuts anymore, steadfast walk every step, we will succeed in the end. So belief yourself, nothing is impossile, just do it. Thank you for taking your time to listen to my speech, I hope in the near future we all can be successful.

　　大家好！

　　我叫xx。这次我很荣幸能站在讲台上进行英语科代表的竞选。这次，我要通过我的努力，成为老师的助手，同学的榜样，我相信我一定能竞选上英语科代表这个职务。

　　虽然我是一名中学生，但是我喜爱英语，成绩更是在班里名列前茅。甚至有时候玩游戏我都玩英语的，虽然有些我不会念，但慢慢来，总是能学会的。再说了，这几年我一直都是英语课代表，有一些经验，我有责任、有能力为英语老师做好我力所能及的工作。

　　一个人最可怜的是无知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的'是拼搏。不管我竞选成功与否，我都会让自私、无知与我无缘。只有那一股子拼劲，为大家，为班级做事。我在每次的英语考试中都能达到95分以上，成绩很不错，此外，我有着强烈的责任心，有丰富的经验，可以帮助老师做一些力所能及的事。如果我竞选成功，我一定会全心全意地为同学服务。每天早上，我会带领同学们进行早读，并把同学的作业收齐。

　　我不仅英语学习成绩好，而且我做的英文海报和我的英语书写，也是很厉害的！我在业余时间里或假期里，我喜欢看英语报、读英文书、唱英文歌……

　　我从二年级到五年级，都是英语课代表，所以我有决心和经验来承担英语课代表这个职责。虽然我的口语能力还有待提高，但是我会继续努力的！

　　如果我当上了英语课代表，我会尽力为老师和同学服务！

　　在课上，我会带头积极举手发言；课下，如果有同学来问我不会的题，我也一定会耐心爽快地回答。如果遇到了一些难题，我会组织其他的同学共同探讨，并寻求老师的帮助。正因为如此，我有信心做好一名英语科代表。

　　We Are The World ,We Are The Future

　　Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

　　We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

　　A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves.

　　I have three dreams. My first dream is that I wish I could go to college some day, which is also the one of many other students' dreams. Going to college for further education can not only enrich our knowledge, but also teach us how to behave better. I always imagine that the college life must be very interesting. This dream gives me energy to study harder and harder. Now I'm trying my best to make it come true. Sure, I have enough confidence to realize my dream.

　　My second dream is becoming an excellent doctor. I always dream that I could turn a doctor like Bai Qiuen, so that I could cure a lot of patients, help them get rid of sick devil, let them lead a healthy and happy life, and finally I will feel happy, too.

　　My third dream is that all the people together with the surroundings can live in perfect harmony. There are no quarrellings, no cheatings, and no wars in the world. 　　Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country.

　　I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that!? My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.

　　Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.

　　I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also.

　　If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

And the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. So most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. 　　We all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. If we keep chasing them, where is the end? What will satisfy us at last? Therefore, we can see, to get the real Success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.

　　Different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. But I am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility.
