　　苹果公司上周推出iPad2，iPad第一代的价格立即应声下调1100元，最低2888元就可以拿到一款16G的wifi版iPad。

　　【讲解】文中的repay the difference 就是指退差价，还可以说成refund the difference/balance。Refund除了作动词外，还可以作名词，如export tax refund (出口退税)，full refund (全额退款)。hit a brick wall 是指遇到了困难，碰壁。
